SCOSHA
Love everything at SCOSHA. So organic, folksy and bohemian. They come with a wonderful story.
SCOSHA is a collection of jewelry by Australian-born artist and designer Scosha Woolridge. She considers herself a story jeweler, using travel tales as inspiration to create jewelry that combines the modern and ancient worlds. SCOSHA draws from a mix of global influences and explores the adventure and freedom in everyday life. Made of gem/stones, metal and recycled fibers, each piece is created as a play between materials and how that translates into what is traditionally considered 'precious' or 'non-precious', 'masculine' or 'feminine'. Ultimately, the goal is lived-in style. It should feel as attractive as it looks; its that natural sensibility that is really attractive.
What a beautiful idea. Definitely precious.
See more beauty here.

Be still
You need not do anything.
Remain sitting at your table and listen.
You need not even listen, just wait.
You need not even wait, just learn to be quiet, still and solitary.
And the world will freely offer itself to you unmasked.
It has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.

Workroom
So in love with the graphic design of workroom from Seoul, Korea. The unmistakable european elements treated with asian sensibilities make the design so unique and characteristic. Most asian designs influenced
by European style end up being superficial and pretentious but workroom comes out with such edgy interpretations of their own. Especially love the Cafe Eat graphic identity. So edgy and unexpected.
Definitely the best of both worlds.

Grand Salvo
Love the faint and fragile music of Grand Salvo in Soil Creatures. So emotional, almost spiritual and reminds of the beauty of sadness, life and death. And how perfect is the CD booklet. Too good.

Let go
This is a path of letting go
So there will be room to live
If we hold on to opinions,
our minds will become dull and useless
Let go of opinions.
If we hold on to possessions,
we will always be at risk.
Let go of possessions.
If we hold on to ego,
we will continue to suffer.
Let go of ego.
Working without thought of praise or blame
is the way of true contentment.

IKO IKO
A space so beautiful and inspiring. Understated, raw and organic, it seems perfectly planned but looks totally unpretentious. The natural light, bare walls and concrete floors with minimal, randomly spaced-out objects are the stuff of dream. Also, owners Kristin Dickson and Shin Okuda look so friendly and nice.
Bring me there.
